I came back with a broken camera (thank God for back-ups), a dead cell phone (it decided to take a dive in the ocean after not having seen a honu at the turtle sanctuary), and a sick self. Sleeping for sixteen hours my first night back seems to have helped because I’m feeling much better.
We had an awesome time in Hawaii. I took too many pictures but feel like I didn’t take enough. My camera stayed in the bag for several outings so I feel like I missed recording some moments. But sometimes, it’s better to be experiencing the moment rather than standing outside of it, being an observer, right?
I’ve got a boatload of laundry to do and children to attend to, so I’ll keep this short. Here’s a peek of a bridal session I did with my sister, with the help of Reflector Boy, aka my husband. I think we did more eating than anything else during the shoot so this picture is very telling…
Thanks for all the well-wishes with the launch of the website. We truly appreciate it. For those who couldn’t get it to load on Firefox, please try again. Reflector Boy does have other talents than holding a disk at the perfect angle, and he was able to troubleshoot whatever was causing Firefox to dislike our site.
