CS3

I sooooo can’t wait until Photoshop CS3 is available on the market. I currently have CS1, as I passed up on the CS2 upgrade, but CS1 can’t process my 5d RAW files! So I’ve been using Canon’s DPP to convert my RAW files, and there’s no noise management in it! I did a shoot for a basketball team last week, and at 3200 ISO, the files were quite noisy. I downloaded the CS3 beta this weekend and re-processed the files, and what a big difference! I’m so much happier with the images, now. Too bad my 2-day trial has already expired, and I’m going to have to wait until May to upgrade….

Last week, I also had a portrait session with Bridget and Leland. Loved their place. So many great places to photograph. It seems that my style is getting wider-angled. A few years ago, my pictures were all about close-ups. Now, though I still love focusing in on details, I like adding more context to children’s photographs, too. Here are a few of my favorite photos of Bridget and Leland:

your photos are absolutely amazing. I especially love the one on the rocking horse! I have CS2, but of course, I don’t take those kinds of photos. What kind of camera do you use?
