daily conversation

Kealoha: Mom, is it warm, yet?

me: No.

Kealoha: But I want to wear a dress!

me: Baby, mommy doesn’t control the weather. If you wear a dress, you’re going to be cold. Are you ok with that?

Kealoha: Yeah, I’ll wear a sweater!

And so it is that most days, this girl wears a dress. Summer dresses in winter. Cinderella dresses to Target. Tinkerbell/fairy costumes to Keilah’s school. Gotta pick your battles, right?

Oh, and she likes dresses “because they’re pretty,” and she can do this while in them…

You’ve caught some wonderful princess shots here, Nely.
This could easily be a conversation between myself and my three-year-old (of course, I don’t let Cinderella go to the store with me. ha).
