Meagan and Frankie

Meagan had great plans about doing a lifestyle portrait session with her cat so she could create an album for her mom’s Mother’s Day present. She wanted me to capture images that show what a day in the life of Frankie is like.

Images like this, of them playing, was what she had in mind. meagan-26.jpg

But Frankie had different ideas. Whenever Meagan picked her up, she ran away to another room! We thought my laugh scared her so I tried to be quiet. :P But that didn’t help!

So, I took some portraits of Meagan…

But she really wanted photos of her cat, as Frankie was a gift from her mom. I ended up crawling on my belly, following the not-so-friendly feline around, trying not to scare her off! I followed her under the bed..meagan-19.jpg

Yep, I was a cat stalker! Can you tell she’s watching me like a hawk, thinking, “Don’t get any closer, lady!” lol!

We concluded that Frankie really was just being a camera hog, er, camera kitty. She didn’t want to share the spotlight with Meagan!

Towards the end, Meagan took her kitty and held her tightly so we could get a few of them together! Does Frankie look happy to you? meagan-44.jpg

Ah, that was fun! I’m always up for a challenge, and there’s never a dull moment when I have my camera with me! :)

I just love the color of the Frankie’s eyes! They are so blue. You always have such vibrant color.

Oh, they’re absolutely beautiful. That was so neat because (besides my wedding) that was the first time I got to see the moments before I see the pictures. So cool. I still think it might have been your laugh a little. And was that you ‘being quiet?’ hmmm.
