We avoided giving Kealoha paints as long as we could. We figured our walls are colorful enough from markers and crayons. But for Christmas, she really wanted “a bottle of paint and a paintbrush.” So her sister indulged her and got her a basket full of 50-cent acrylic paints! We finally played with them today, and boy, did we enjoy it! At dinner tonight, she said her favorite part of the day was fingerpainting. I think it was mine, too! I love simple pleasures!
