I wasn’t too excited about having a layover at Oakland Airport on our way to Hawaii until I saw this mural. So cool! I couldn’t whip out my camera fast enough!

Since my camera was already out, why not take pictures of cool light, right?
We had a three hour layover, which we spent people-watching (most noteworthy was the security guard counting the chairs at the gate. i wonder if maybe someone’s stolen a couple before?), doing cartwheels, and taking a bad family portrait (and i suppose you can interpret that as bad family portrait or bad family portrait.)
