On how different my children are…

On the way back from David’s grandmother’s where we spent Easter yesterday, the kids were in the backseat raving about the great day they had. It’s a first for them to spend Easter Sunday in Hawaii, surrounded by extended family, and participating in an egg hunt with cousins, instead of friends in San Diego. Towards the end, Keilah said, “We even got money in our golden eggs.” Curious, I asked them what they were going to do with their coin.

Kealoha quickly piped up: “I’m going to get shave ice! And I’m getting you more Kit Kat, mommy!”

Keilah mulled it over, then said, “I think I’m going to save it for college!”

I hope you all had a wonderful easter yesterday, surrounded by your loved ones!

What more can you ask for? One kid is very giving with their money and one is wise beyond their years. : )
Happy Easter!
