on how much Kealoha wants a baby…

We received a 20X24 canvas print of this image of Midori yesterday…midori.jpg

and this is the conversation that ensued:

K: Awwww, she is sooo cute!

me: She is, huh?

K: Can we keep it?
me: No, it’s not for us to keep.

K: Please, mommy! They already have the baby! Can’t we just have the picture?!!! Please?!

Poor kid. She can’t win.

In our attempt to assuage her desire for a baby sister/baby brother/doggie/cat, we bought her a fish this weekend. She and Keilah named it Colonel Pickering (from My Fair Lady.) The little creature died 2 hours after they brought it home… Poor Kealoha. She’s just not having any luck! Anyone have a baby she can borrow? ;)
