Portraits: Jen & Monty (continued)

Jen & Monty are our dear friends. When Jen & I get together, we never seem to stop laughing. Our husbands look at us as if we’ve lost our minds. We’re walking and canasta partners (!). We sometimes joke that we’re senior citizens in thirty-somethings bodies!

Monty is a sound designer for Sony. You might see his name in the credits of some Playstation games.

I don’t know why they hang out with me and David when they’re this cool…:)

I love this one (I rarely say that about my own work…). I’ve been loving out-of-focus photos, lately…I know, I’m weird!

These were all photographed in good ol’ El Cajon! :P It goes to show that there are cool places in our ghetto town, after all…No? Ok, maybe it just proves that good light is better than great backgrounds! :) ETA: Actually, I think even more important is the connection between the couple and how transparent they are willing to be in front of the camera.
