As a mom and a photographer, I know how valuable photographs are. They represent cherished memories in our lives: the special trips, the toothless grins, the bad haircuts, the mismatched outfit you wore for first and second grade school photo day… (ok, maybe that’s just my sister!:)).
As we watched the news last week, we saw many images of people packing their framed portraits so they can take them to safety. Yet, we know that there are probably so many more out there who weren’t able to save their precious photos. In answer to this, a group of photographers, spearheaded by Melissa Schwartz, formed Project Heirloom. We will be offering complimentary photo sessions to families who lost their homes in the San Diego fires this October. Fromex is also offering one free 11×14 or two 5×7 prints.
Please contact me to schedule a session or visit www.projectheirloom.com for a list of participating photographers.
