We braved a “beach” not of sand but of fish scales. Yep, 30+ wedding photographers, 8 brides, 4 grooms, 4 make-up artists woke-up at ungodly hours on Saturday to visit this decrepit place and had a photo extravaganza! I wonder if the birds at Salton Sea are still hearing shutter clicks…
Here are some of my favorite photos from the day:
Jessie
Jay. She worked the camera so well, I asked her if she did modeling. And she laughed! Doesn’t she kind of look like Rebecca Romijn here?
The nice thing about shooting at a decrepit place is that when there are a dozen other photographers in front of you, you can just find another hole on another side. Makes for a nice frame, too:)
Ann
Natalie. She and her husband, Adam are pros with the camera, as well. Their wedding photographer trained them well!
Ron and Shellane. So fun. They loved this car!
“Honey, they said to kiss me!”
Thanks so much to all the photographers, models, and make-up artists who made this happen! Especially to Chris Austin who organized the whole bash!
Also, thanks, Eddie, for carpooling with me! Have I talked you into using Google Reader, yet?
