Shutterbugs

I’m not the only shutterbug in our family.

And David is quite good. But he doesn’t pick up the camera too often because he’s afraid he’ll show me up. And he would! I wouldn’t mind. I like having a shooting partner! Look at this shot he got after Saturday’s easter egg hunt. Nice framing! easter.jpg

We haven’t yet let Kealoha play with a real camera. Her nickname is not Bam Bam for nothing.

lol. Kidding! We love when she’s awake. She brings so much energy – and hugs and kisses – to our otherwise mellow family. We certainly don’t mind when she does take a nap though. It lets us take a breather from her nonstop questions and whirlwind activities. And it allows me to take lots of pictures of her — without the kissy faces she now makes whenever she sees a lens pointed at her.

Wow! That’s one serious looking lens you have there. Can you take ‘over the horizon’pictures with it?

The lens really isn’t that big (it’s a 24-70). I think the hood and Keilah’s size makes it seem larger.
