Ten on Tuesday

My friend, Susie, is taking a break from blogging so I thought I would continue her TOT tradition in her honor.

1. Kealoha picked Melissa’s name to win the Scrapbooking Your Faith book! Melissa, please email me your addy so I can get the book to you.

2. We had planned to go to ArtWalk on Saturday but got sidetracked. I showed Keilah and Kealoha how to do a belly flop on daddy’s stomach, and they had too much fun practicing my techniques (and getting flipped over) to go out and get cultured:). I guess my girls don’t only get their wrestling moves from their dad.

3. I haven’t scrapped in months, and I have an assignment I have to do tonight. I hope the layouts turn out ok.

4. I’ve been kinda sewing…My sewing machine was probably happy to be working on fabric instead of paper, as it has done for years! I wanted quick projects so I made skirts for the girls. Simple yet perfect for spinning!

5. Now, I’ve got dress, apron and purse designs in my head. And lots of fabrics I’m coveting. Not good.

6. I don’t really know how to sew. I just kinda wing it. I just construct things in my head then start cutting. I’ve never used a pattern. I don’t think I know how. I’m directionally-challenged, in more ways than one. (Read: don’t ask me for directions to go places, either!)

7. Keilah lost her first tooth last week. In her excitement, she accidentally dropped it in the trash can. The poor Tooth Fairy was sad she couldn’t come for a visit. Hmmm, maybe TF left the money in the trash, too?

8. Ten on Tuesday is harder than I thought. I just don’t have that many interesting things to say!

9. Maybe next Tuesday, I’ll just post ten pictures instead!

10. Or ten words! :)

That skirt is so pretty! It reminds me of Amy Butler. She always uses the most beautiful fabrics

[...] 7.  We love San Diego. There’s always free stuff to go to on the weekends. So long as we get up out of bed and stop wrestling. [...]
