Grand Tradition Wedding: Michael & Ashley

Photographing two people in love as they get married during the “magic hour” at the beautiful Grand Tradition with the lovely Sarah Tolson, how much more difficult could my job be?

The beautiful bride. I love how she’s laughing and the sun’s rays accentuate her laughter.

This makes me think of Christmas. The red and green, the “twinkling lights” from the blurred background, the presents, er, never mind…

While taking this photo, I was thinking, “Please don’t kick me. I’d already had to wait two hours at the DMV today.” Can you feel my anxiety radiating through the image?

What a beautiful wedding. Love the angle you took the photo of the horses and I love the photo of the grandma. I absolutely love the Grand Tradition. I had to really beg administration a lot to let us hold our prom there back in 1989. What a stunning bride and wedding.

Oops! I should explain the reason I had to beg administration to let us hold our prom there was because my high school was located in Lakeside and Fallbrook is quite a drive on some winding roads. Administration was worried about a bunch of 17-18 year olds driving so far, late at night. It was the perfect location and everyone was safe. We had the horses and carriage and even a hot air ballon. I would love to go there again.
