what will matter

I came across this quote the other day, and it really made me think. As someone who loves to capture my memories through photography and scrapbooking, this one stopped me on my tracks:

What will matter is not your memories but the memories that live in those who loved you. -Michael Josephson

boy, she is just amazing, nely!
i have a book called the Read Aloud Handbook by Jim Trelease that actually talks about books to read aloud to your children, but it is a great resource for titles broken down by age. You might want to check this out from the library as it is a great resource. Here are a few titles I have found:
The SOS File by Betsy Byars (Grades 1-3)
The Littles (series) (Grades 1-4)
The Kid Who Invented the Popsicle (nonfiction) by Don Wulffson
(grades 1-5)
Has she read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe? I’m not sure of the age level on this.
