I’m trying to print on inkjet CDs but my lovely printer likes to throw fits unless my dear husband is around…It must be a girl! Instead of complaining about the temperamental tool, I thought I’ll take Oprah’s advice and be grateful. After all, technology, when it works, does make my life so much easier!
So here are my top ten reasons I appreciate technology!
1. I love to do everything online. Banking, shopping, ordering food! Yes, I order pizza online! Because, as I said before, I’m no Rachel Ray.
2. The internet keeps me connected to friends and family who live across the ocean, anytime of day, no matter what time zone they live.
3. What would I do without Google? Hey, it helped me discover that a nice-sounding inquiry is actually a scam!
4. I love that I can call my parents and not worry about long-distance charges. Current cell phone technology and prices would have saved David and me hundreds of dollars in phone bills when we were dating! He was here in California one year and in Oregon another year while I was suffering in Hawaii 
. Unfortunately, back then, cell phones were the size, weight, and shape of a brick!
5. RSS feeds bring the coolest blogs right into my Google homepage.
6. I learned a lot about photography through the web.
7. I like being able to upload files and have photos delivered to my door 
No more driving to and from the lab.
8. Clients find me online And sometimes, even talk with me through G-chat!
9. Warm, running water, plumbing, electricity. Can’t take them for granted!
10. Technology allows me to bulk order chocolate from Amazon! And that makes me very happy!
