Tasha insisted she’s not photogenic. I beg to differ!

You may remember Andrew & Jackie from their engagement session. What can I say about their wedding? It was a perfect day full of faith, family, friends, and fun!
They got married at Crystal Springs Golf Course and hosted their reception at the San Francisco Airport Hyatt.
It all started with the engagement ring. Jackie told me the significance of her wedding set, which includes 3 diamonds. Two small ones represent her and Andrew, and the large one in the center represents God. Aren’t these two just so inspiring?

Jackie was so anxious to get in her beautiful dress, she just picked it up, and started putting it on by herself! Her bridesmaids had to hustle to get to help her!

The day could not have been more beautiful at Crystal Springs Golf Course. The day was warm with a beautiful breeze.

Their entire wedding was a testament to their faith. They had a 3-cord ceremony – a strand representing God, Andrew & Jackie – twined together, for as the Bible says, “A cord of 3 strands is not easily broken.”

Their bridal party could sure air it! Or is Jackie lifting them all up?

Andrew & Jackie, Andrew’s parents, Jackie’s parents played a version of the newlywed game. They answered questions, such as, “Who can can cook better?” or “Who cleans up?” by raising the corresponding shoe. I think the question in this photo was, “Who’s better looking?” Jackie thinks they both are, but she’s a bit more so than Andrew!
In case you’re wondering, Andrew’s parents won.

Andrew and Jackie, thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding day. We felt blessed to have been a part of it.
There’s so much more, so many more stories to tell. Watch the slideshow below to see more!

They started dating in high school. Shannon was a cheerleader and Kenny was a baseball player. Sweet, huh? This shoot was so much fun, and I have so many more photos to share but I have to go catch a flight soon. ![]()

My usual style is for strong contrast and rich colors but for this shoot, a softer, vintagey-processing seemed appropriate. What do you think?
Have a great weekend, everyone!

I mostly read blogs through my google reader. It’s efficient and a great time saver. No clicking around all over the place.
Today, however, after tiring of teaching Keilah about polynomials and coefficients (yeah, I know, my head hurt after, too), I visited a new-to-me blog to learn more about teaching writing. Heck, I need to learn to write, myself. Maybe then, I can update this blog more often.
On her sidebar was a link to this blog post about those plastic dividers at grocery checkout lines, which made me laugh out loud. I am so tempted to try it but I usually go grocery shopping with my kids, and I don’t want them to keel over from mortification. I read a few of his other entries, which are just as witty. I’ve since added his blog to my google reader, as I’m always up for a good laugh.
What about you? Any great blog finds, of late?
